Impact100 Owensboro is a community of women that seeks to transform lives in the Greater Owensboro area through high-impact and lifelong giving and is celebrating its 18th year providing grants to local non-profit organizations.

Awards will be decided on October 24th when Impact100’s members will come together in person at the RiverPark Center for the organization’s annual meeting.  Each finalist will offer a presentation about their organization and related project.  Members will be able to read about each organization’s project in advance of the annual meeting as well as meet with non-profits at scheduled site visits.

“We are so thankful for the nearly 100 members who volunteered their time and talents this summer. These women analyzed the non-profit grant applications, asked questions, and learned so much about our local non-profits. The great work of these dedicated non-profits makes selecting just eight finalists a difficult decision. Thank you to all our applicants for striving to best support our community,” said Beth Shepherd, Impact100 Owensboro Grants Committee Co-Chair.

“We are so proud of the NextGen membership for the work that they completed to select this wonderful group of grant finalists.  They learned more about some amazing local organizations that provide a variety of services to meet the needs of our community, and they are excited to complete site visits for the finalists they selected.” – Sarah Howard, NextGen Chair and Impact100 Owensboro’s Treasurer.

“Every year, our finalists represent diverse missions under the categories of Arts & Culture, Education, Family, Health & Wellness, and Environment & Recreation,” said Jodi Krahwinkel, President of Impact100 Owensboro. “Interestingly though, all the 2023 finalists have a common thread. Each is unique to the Greater Owensboro area. Nothing pleases me more than to know that each of these agencies has the opportunity to be transformed with an Impact100 grant.”
